Kids like Addison who, at 8 years old, began having seizures. By the time she was 10 years old she was having 60 seizures a day. She was hospitalized numerous times as they searched for an answer to what was causing her seizures. Even though doctors predicted she would not survive, medication has recently been developed that stops Addison’s seizures. Addison lives each day to the fullest with her beautiful smile and warm spirit. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has stepped in along the way, providing both financial and emotional assistance to Addison and her family.

Dairy Queen has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1984 and has raised more than $145 million total. Their support has brought joy and healing to kids treated at our health system in numerous ways.

Guests visiting our nine DQ locations (Joplin, Seneca, Galena, Ft. Scott, Iola, Lamar, Nevada) supporting Freeman Health System can purchase a paper Miracle Balloon to publicly pledge support and receive $3 or $5 in discount coupons good for food and drink on their next visit.
