Walmart & Sam’s Club Step Up to Help Freeman NICU

Today the world is seeing firsthand what Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has known since 1987, that Walmart and Sam’s Club associates are miracle makers. For over 30 years they have been raising funds for local sick and injured kids and have made technology like our Angel Eye camera system possible for the families served at Freeman Health System.

Having a child in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is never easy, but families are facing an even tougher battle due to the novel Coronavirus. Parents are unable to visit their babies together and grandparents are having to wait to meet their precious grandchildren. That’s why now, more than ever, technology like the Angel Eye camera system is so vital.

Blayklee was born into the world during a time of uncertainty. Due to COVID-19, restrictions have been placed on visiting hospitals throughout the nation, and NICU families are among those greatly effected. These restrictions mean her grandparents, aunts, and uncles are required to watch the first weeks of her life from their homes. While this reality is not ideal, Angel Eye has made it easier and would not be possible without the dedication that Walmart and Sam’s Club associates show to their communities.

We are grateful to have a partner who not only looks out for local sick and injured children, but looks out for their entire community during this trying  time. Thank you Walmart and Sam’s Club for your unwavering dedication to your local communities and those in need!

Thank you for your unwavering dedication to our mission to help every child who needs us. Kids and families need us now as much as ever, and we are grateful to YOU, our generous supporters who continue to stand with us through this unprecedented time, as we face major losses of funding due to cancelled or postponed events and fundraisers. Your donations are needed now more than ever. Thank you for your continued generosity.
